Candy Lady

I still chuckle that I have a friend whom I legit call "Candy Lady" — and it's 100% true and accurate: she and her husband are chocolatiers and candy merchants.  She is exactly who you'd want someone to be if they were called "Candy Lady" and her candies are exactly as scrumptious as you'd expect from somebody with that moniker.  They are bad-to-the-bone good.

Everybody loves those jacked-up name brands we grew up with that sat on a shelf for two years before you tossed out a quarter for it (remember those days?  Ha haaaa!  Even the jacked-up versions are a couple of bucks apiece now).  But what if you had reeeeeeally clean, really good quality tribute versions of those same favorites, just without all the additives?  The same crazy good taste minus the crazy bad crap.

If you ever had a taste for oh, say, Heath, then Major might be right up your alley.  It's DELICIOUS.  Each of these quality bars is spot-on mouth-watering good.

“Our company name, Go Max Go Foods, is a tribute to our delightful 'pound puppy' Max, a German Shepherd mix who, for sixteen and-a-half years, taught us through action that life should be about big love, having fun at every opportunity, and not worrying about tripping when you’re chasing after your dream (in his case, usually a tennis ball).  The memory of Max in motion inspired us."

As Candy Lady says:

"We set out to create extraordinarily delicious candy bars, and we wanted a variety of bars that popped with all the luscious flavors of the traditional treats. What we didn’t want was dairy, eggs, hydrogenated oils, trans fats, artificial ingredients, or cholesterol."
